Hi . I'm a doctor and recently joined my dad's hospital.I get paid 1 lakh rs per month as consultancy charges by my dad.Is there any way i can start my own book of accounts by charging fees for few patients plus claim my consultancy charges too..?

Dear Mr Nikhil, It doesn't make any diff.working with dad's clinic or any other,The consultancy paid to u is taxable & you can have other consultancy as well .The clinic will deduct tax & issue TDS form & u have to file the return.Accounts books ..What u want,if you have your clinic then ..think of
