Withdrawal of money from bank acc without the nominee

sir my cousin grandmother died an year back,she had no children &stayed with us throughout her life,she had no nominee for her bank acc.Please suggest a way to withdraw the money from her acc and close the acc.

You have to make death claim with bank. If the amount is high then you may need to obtain succession certificate
