We want to shut down a private limited company. The company has not filed its annual return since last 3 years and do not have any transaction from last 3 years. What is the procedure to shut down the company? Is it possible to shut down the company without filling all annual returns in any scheme available?

There is fast track exit scheme. But for this, the balance sheet should be nil. So before opting for this scheme, the balance sheet have to be made nil. In FTE route, no need to file any pending returns before applying for voluntary winding up
