why should we call it as Balance sheet rather Statement of assets and liabilites since it shows liabilites and assets

And also shows how they are balanced by the balancer viz., Equity Funds!

Balancer?! It is of same meaning that of Equity funds?
But it shows not only with equity funds but with all long term funds?

THat is because long term funds other than equity are liabilities.
