Who can give cag sas/ accounting exam

18 April 2014 Sir ,

I am interested in appearing for the cag sas exam which is conducted by cag.

Can a graduate / post graduate who is not a government officer appear for the cag exams ? i mean can external candidates appear ? Or only government departmental officials can appear for the exam ?

18 April 2014 it is only for the candidates within the department. please refer https://cgda.nic.in/adm/exam/syllabus/rules.html

Thanks for the quick reply ..... I was waiting for this opportunity , but sad that it is only for departmental candidates. actually the exam registration schedule in one of circulars is 21 april 2014 .

18 April 2014 Rohit, if you really wish to get into Govt, go for SSC or UPSC. go for the top jobs..
