04 July 2009 intraday and F&O profit or loss for a salaried person is considered as speculation business than which ITR hes suppose to file and if ITR 4 than what to mention in nature of business (code) ??

04 July 2009 File your Return under ITR -I, the proft & Loss from intraday & FA&O should be mentionoed under other income, make sure that the short term capital gain is applicable or not if applicable then the special tax rate will be apply. The question of nature of business is not arise because you are a salaried person.

04 July 2009 but under ITR 2 its mention that :

Income from Other Sources (only Interest Income or Family Pension) and not speculative income or loss,
and i dont think ITR 1 will apply

04 July 2009 Hi,
you will have to file ITR 4.
ITR-1 & ITR-2 not applicable in your case. In my opinion for business code write 0204 i.e. trading others.
