23 August 2008 plz tell which book is best for accounts and how should i prepare for Accountancy subject???????????

24 August 2008 Hi, You have not informed the level for which u need the guidance. However the following preparation is needed for success in accountancy for any level:-
1. Be thorough in Accounting standards issued by ICAI.
2. Solve accounts topic wise daily for at least for two hours. Understand each and every adjustment in the problems solved.
3. Ensure the working notes are properly numbered and correlated to the main body of the answer.Do solve accounts with intent and interest.

Please note that do not attempt to tally the balance sheet. The final answer carries only a mark or two. It all depends on your workings in support of your answer.
