Whether subsi includes foreign subsi also for t sec 212 ?

06 October 2011 Dear Experts,

I want to know whether subsidiary includes foreign subsidiary also for the purpose of filing of ROC and for the purpose of sec 212 of the company's act 1956?

Holding company is Indian company & its subsidiary is 100% foreign subsidiary company.

Section 4 of the Companies Act 1956 does not differentiate between domestic company and Foreign Company...

So definitely section 212 have to be followed in respect of foreign subsi company..
