17 July 2013 We are filing IT returns for the last 20 years without fail. Now our auditor says that since there is no tax payment we need not file the returns. Is it correct and is there any risk of scrutiny for non filing? Please clarify.

17 July 2013 if ur gross income is less then the slab rate then u need not file return.

if ur company then u need to file as mat will be applicable.
