Whether income is taxable in India ??

My Husband is working in Singapore since last year (from march 2010). Whether he is liable to pay tax or file any return in India ?

If your husband has spent less than 60 days in India then he shall not be required to file the return of income in India.
However if he has any Indian income i.e. rent,interest etc. then he may be liable to file the return in India if the Indian Income exceeds rs. 1,60,000/-.
