Whether 44ad audits are included in ceiling limit?

30 September 2011 My query is if the assesse wants to declare lower income than prescribed in sec 44AD and gets his account audited, then whether such Audit is included in the ceiling limit of 45 Audits of a CA or not? And if not, then why?

30 September 2011 No.. As per ICAI's guidelines, audits which are becoming tax audits due to proviso to sec 44AD are not supposed to be counted in ceiling of a member.
