Where to park short term funds

Since i am a businessman, i sometimes have a fund of about 10 lakhs which lie idle from anywhere between 15 to 45 days.
So where shouldi invest them and how much return should i expect from them?
I have heard about some options
Fd , ultra short term funds, short term funds, liquid funds ?

Fixed deposits in banks and liquid funds will be suitable, return will be mostly simular in both cases liquidfunds may offer 1- 2% P.A extra
