When to purchase books of law & audit?

I have CA Final exam Due in MAy 2014, can you tell me is it appropriate to purchase books of law & auditing standards at present for preparation for final exam?

If not than please answer me what is perfect time for the same.

08 January 2013 Perfect timing would be Jan 14 because all the amendments applicable for your exam would be included in your book. However, if you feel it will be late by then, you can get the same now and start reading them and get hold of someone's book in 2014 so that you can see the changes that have taken place in the meanwhile.
