Dear Sir/Ma'am,
A very quick question. Please correct me if I am wrong. Is TDS Return, VAT return & Service Tax Return filed quarterly?
If I am wrong then can you please correct me on this.

TDS return is filed quarterly. Service Tax Return is filed Half yearly. For vat return, rules differ from state to state.

Hi Sir,
But on the internet I found articles which state that Sales tax hav to be filed half yearly wef 1st april 2012 for maharashtra. Now is that correct or incorrect info..??
Also can you tell me what wud b the Service Tax returns filing period for Mumbai region?

All over India, Service Tax return has to be filed half yearly.
For Maharashtra VAT I am not aware of the rules.
