13 December 2012 if registery value is less than actual value received in case of immovable property .what will be full value of consideration.i also need some ruling for this. ,all consideration is deposited in bank.

14 December 2012 Full value of Consideration is:
1. Actual Sales Consideration or
2. Value adopt by Stamp duty authority

WHICHEVER IS MORE..

You can claim exemption if you deposit an amount of capital gain in "Capital Gain Scheme Account" with SBI within 6 months or before fill ITR (Whichever is earlier). An amount should be used within 3 years for reinvestment u/s 54 to 54GA.


If you deposit an amount in your saving bank account then you will not be eligiable to claim any dedcution...
