Please do tell me whether VAT applies to mobile sim distributers.do service tax applies to them.

Pls remember that VAT is a tax on sale of goods hence it is not applicable to the sim distributor. So far as sale of SIM is concerned it is not applicable in view of the SC verdict in the matter of M/s BSNL(145 STC 1 SC)
