10 September 2020 6 months is the time limit and only sellers has to issue such notes.

There is no time limit to issue Debit note
and there is specific time limit to issue credit note.
please reply.

10 September 2020 I agree with you there is no time limit for debit note.
GST rules allows to issue credit notes till Sep of next financial year.
