I want to know about PMS and QIS which is required in case of finance from banks.

What is this?
Why it is required.
When it is to be filed?

11 May 2012 Portfolio Management Services (PMS) is a sophisticated investment vehicle that offers a range of specialised investment strategies to capitalise on opportunities in the market.

QIS REPORT:

needs to be
submitted by a company, firm or any business entity to the
bank from which it has borrowed money (Term Loan, Working
Capital - Cash Credit, etc.)

This report has to be submitted to the bank in the format
prescribed/provided by them to keep them informed about the
performance & position of the business entity. The due date
or periodicity will be communicated by teh concerned bank to
the borrower.
