24 November 2009 A note sent to a vendor or buyer that outlines the methods of payment that will be accepted.

For example, a customer who subscribes to a free trial copy of a magazine may receive a payment advice note after the free trial is complete. The note could indicate that the customer could purchase a full subscription by paying with a check or with a credit card.
