What is more important DISA or CISA?

Hello All, I have cleared my CA in june 2009 and my articleship to be completed on 16.01.201o . Please tell me whats more important to do? Is it DISA or CISA? which has more advantage? any also suggest me any other imp course to be done currently which are carried by ICAI as well as other courses.

If you are planning work abrod cisa will be very useful. If you are planning work in india then choose disa and also do IFRS certification course which will be very useful for your career.

Hello CA. B.SRINIVASULU Sir, whether doing CISA will have any importantance for working within India? Which places require CISA qualification and which fields require DISA qualification?

If you are looking for mulitinational companies who have operations in various parts of the world then CISA is required.
If you are looking for a company of Indian Base then DISA is enough.

I have been informed that CISA has got statutory recognition under SOX Act US. In the days to come such a statutory recognition assumes all the importance given the liberalisation & FDI in India. I am not aware of any such statutory recognition of DISA.
