Mainly in the territorial waters. some say 200/300; some say 12 nm. please clarify

As per sec.2(28) of Customs Indian customs Waters means the waters extending into the sea up to the limit of contiguous zone of India u/s.5 of the Territorial waters,Continental shelf,EEZ and other Maritime Zones Act 1976.Indian Customs water is up to the 12 nautical miles from the territorial Waters

I am saying how many nautical miles from shores of indian land.

it is covered up to the 24 nautical miles from the nearst point of baseline (such is called Indian land)
