My query is relating to deduction allowed for payment of ESI & PF.
Whether the date at which Cheque & challan deposited to the treasury bank or the clearing date of cheque will be considered?
What if the challan is paid in CASH.
Please help me out solving query.

Date of deposit will be considered provided the cheque cleared within 3 days.

If the challan is paid in cash, then the payment date is considered.
