What is maximum amount of interest other than securities ( 194 A) which exempted from TDS in normal case? Thanks in advance

20 August 2009 where the payer is
 A banking company and interest is paid or payable on term deposit Or
 a co-operative society engaged in banking business and interest is paid or payable on term deposit or
 where is payer is post office and interest is payable on notified scheme of post office (i.e. senior citizen scheme, 2004 )
--limit is Rs. 10000

in any other case limit is Rs. 5000
