What all to consider to start new business??

03 April 2013 Dear sir, I wants to start a new business under which I will be purchasing tea from the wholesalers from Assam and then selling it to retailers in Rajasthan. I wants to know that wether their are any legal requirements that I need to follow. Also, should I take permission from the company for this? And what if I do not take this permission? Please do help me with appropriate answers.

04 April 2013 you are trader acting as market intermediary. the least requirement is to get registered wiht Central Sales Tax.

06 April 2013 you have to register under Rajastan VAT first and then under CST Act also.Purchase can be done against 'C' form(2% CST) and sale can be done in transit for reducing tax burden. It is only in the case of c&F agency you have to approach a particular company.........mjk
