Whether web site devlopment cost to be accounted as fixed asset ? if so at what time to be recognised in the books and in which accounting head?

Expenses incurred on website should be charged off to profit and loss account in the year they are incurred. Such expenses need not be capitalized as they are not in the nature of capital expenditure.
