Can Department now issue wealth tax recovery notice after 30 years of the AY for the deceased person who died 20 years back.

note: the tax recovery notice has no quote of any assessment order passed it just reads the outstanding amount standing due to be paid.

The deceased might have filed or might have been assessed under the Wealth Tax Act and factual position in this regard can be known either by inquiring the old tax consultant or the department itself.
