Wct composite services-strengthening work

01 August 2018 Our company is dealing with govt.electrical projects- Scope of work is strengthening existing electrical distribution system -

1) By completely changing existing old lines- with material

2) Changes wherever damages happened.

Please suggest GST rates for both nature of work.

01 August 2018 The services described by you is falling under Maintenance, Repair, Installation Service, under Tariff heading 9987, which shall attract GST rate of 9% plus 9%.

01 August 2018 Thanks for reply for my query. One more doubt in my query nature of work-

1) By completely changing existing old lines- with material, whether it will cover under original works as per a(ii) mentioned below-

(a) "original works" means-
(i) all new constructions;
(ii) all types of additions and alterations to abandoned or damaged structures on land that are required to make them workable;
