Dear Sir/Madam,
We give washing allowance to our employees of Rs. 500 per Month as a part of CTC. We exempt this amount for tax purpose.
The query from auditor is that there is now where in income tax act that any company can give washing allowance to its employees and exempt it.
Can you help me in providing the section as to where it is exempt in Income TAx Act.
