One of my clients submitted his income tax return after due date and now receives intimation u/s 143(1) and he comes to know that he filed some wrong information in his return and want to correct it. at present the return is at cpc and I want to transfer this return/file from cpc to A.O. Please suggest me what is the process of same .

14 May 2016 you can rectify your return under section 154 if you have filled your return after due date. rectification application can be made within 4 years from the end of financial year.
