30 May 2023 Dear Sir,

We are a manufacturing company, our registered office is situated at e.g. Place A and our factory address is Place B, both place are in same city and both places are added in GST registration certificate. PLACE A as registered address and PLACE B as factory address.
PLACE A & PLACE B both was mortgaged by bank for running of business, Now we have switched our Company bank and now only PLACE B is mortgage by the new bank against Company CC A/c.
Now we want to change our company address from PLACE A to PLACE B in GST, ROC and PAN Card (if necessary)
Kindly clarify, what document we needed for change in registered office in GST, ROC & PAN CARD and we need to change in firstly GST or ROC or PAN, kindly Suggest.

11 July 2024 Changing the registered office address of your manufacturing company involves updating multiple registrations and documents, including GST, ROC (Registrar of Companies), and PAN Card. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to proceed:

### 1. GST Registration

**Documents Required:**
- **Board Resolution:** A board resolution approving the change of registered office address.
- **Utility Bill:** Recent utility bill (electricity bill, water bill, etc.) for Place B (new address) showing the name of the company.
- **Rent Agreement or NOC:** If the new address is on rent, you’ll need a rent agreement or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the landlord.

**Procedure:**
- Log in to the GST portal using your credentials.
- Navigate to the ‘Services’ tab and select ‘Amendment of Registration Non-Core Fields’.
- Upload the necessary documents as mentioned above.
- After processing by the GST department, the updated address will reflect in your GST registration certificate.

### 2. Registrar of Companies (ROC)

**Documents Required:**
- **Board Resolution:** Similar to GST, a board resolution approving the change of registered office address.
- **Form INC-22:** This form needs to be filed with ROC for changing the registered office address within the same city.
- **Utility Bill or Rent Agreement:** Similar to GST, provide a recent utility bill or rent agreement for verification.

**Procedure:**
- Prepare and file Form INC-22 on the MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) portal within 15 days of passing the board resolution.
- Attach the necessary documents and pay the prescribed fee.
- Upon approval from ROC, the change in registered office address will be updated in your company’s records.

### 3. PAN Card

**Documents Required:**
- **Form for Change/Correction in PAN Data:** Form for correction or change in PAN details (Form 49A for individuals and Form 49AA for entities).
- **Proof of Address:** Utility bill or rent agreement for Place B.
- **Board Resolution:** Similar to GST and ROC, a board resolution approving the change of address.

**Procedure:**
- Download the relevant form from the NSDL or UTIITSL website.
- Fill out the form with correct details and attach necessary documents.
- Submit the form physically or online as per the guidelines provided on the PAN card website.

### Sequence of Updating

It’s generally recommended to start with updating the GST registration first, followed by ROC and then PAN Card. However, since all three registrations involve different authorities and processes, you can initiate the updates simultaneously to expedite the process. Ensure all documents are accurate, updated, and in compliance with the respective guidelines to avoid any delays or rejections.

If you have specific queries or need further assistance during the process, consider consulting with a professional such as a chartered accountant or a company secretary who can provide tailored advice based on your company’s circumstances and local regulatory requirements.
