I am just got Import Export Licence, now i want to start export vegetables to foreign countries.
Kindly tell me process of vegetable exports.

17 October 2013 YOU HAVE GOT I.E.C. CODE not export import licence sir......

Next step is >got registered in APEDA > APPLY FOR DIGITAL KEY>Find suppliers >Make contacts in India.Find clients. Market your services and find sellers in your target countries>Hire distributors, dealers and representatives. It would be advisable to hire overseas agents on a commission basis>Package and label your products to prepare them for shipment. Find a freight forwarder or a shipping company. Some of the top shipping companies in India include Sterling Express, Priority Express,etc

AFTER export apply for DGFT incentive AS VKGUY SCHEME.

Entitlement: Transferable / sellable duty credit @ 5% of FOB value of exports in foreign exchange from 27.08.2009 (3.5% for earlier periods). However for exports made on / after 27.8.2009, some Flowers, Fruits, Vegetables and other products, are also entitled to an additional duty credit @ 2 % of FOB value of exports.

Additional Benefit: For exports made during a particular year, all Status Incentive Scrip Holders (having status recognition for the current year) exporting products covered under ITC HS Chapters 1 to 24 , can claim for duty credit @ 10% (incl. VKGUY) of FOB value of agricultural exports.
