if someone have applied for For service tax voluntary Compliance Scheme on 28/12/2013 and not received confirmation till 31st December 2013 then how he will pay 50% tax. Please suggest.

sir acknowledgement in not necessary for payment of tax, so if you file vces-1 you pay 50 % tax the two FAQ on VCES Scheme which is issued by DEPTT.
FAQ no. 15. What is the consequence if the designated authority does not issue an acknowledgement within seven working days of filing of declaration? Whether the
declarant can start making payment of the tax dues even if acknowledgement is not issued?
Ans. Department would ensure that the acknowledgement is issued in seven working days from the date of filing of the declaration. It may however be noted that payment of tax dues under the Scheme is not linked to the issuance of an acknowledgement. The declarant can pay tax dues even before the acknowledgement is issued by the department.
FAQ No. 18. A declarant pays a certain amount under the Scheme and subsequently his declaration is rejected. Would the
amount so paid by him be adjusted against his liability that may be determined by the department?
Ans. The amount so paid can be adjusted against the liability that is determined by the department.
