TRANSPORTER COPY IS REQUIRED FOR UTILIZATION OF CENVAT CREDIT ON CAPITAL GOODS?

CENVAT CREDIT CAN ALSO BE TAKEN ON "ORIGINAL FOR BUYER COPY", IF "DUPLICATE FOR TRANSPORTER" COPY IS MISPLACED. BUT A SIMPLE INTIMATION FOR IT MAY BE SUBMITTED TO DEPARTMENT FOR SAFER SIDE.
