Yes. Very much you can, though it is an old technology.

You can use ink pen or ball pen, its your absolute choice. One thinking why students would refrain ink pen during November Exam is possible rains that might spoil the writing if something happens to paper.

Of course , you can. Just be careful of spilling the ink or the paper getting wet!
