Can a CA who has been giving his services to an organisation on retainership basis. Can he use any designation like Officiating Company Secretary or DGM etc. for their official purposes???

02 December 2009 CA as a retainer is in capacity of professional consultant only. There is no employer employee relationship. Appointment as retainer is professional as CA works independtly and continues his practice. Same with lawyers. Many of them are on retainer basis by companies and have compounded there fees on a monthly basis rather than appearance etc. Usually such designations are not assigned to a practicing CA.
