Is it necessary to affix revenue stamp when payment of above Rs.5000/- is made to employees on account of TA advance, Imprest given towards day to day/specific expenditure

Yes payment above 5000/- one has to obtain the signature across the revenue stamp of the receiver of the payment .this is as per Indian stamp act
