IF TODAY I DEDUCT THE TDS ON ANY SECTION THEN AFTER DEDUCTED TDS ON TODAY (08/12/2010)
HOW MANY DAYS I HAVE TO DEPOSIT THE DEDUCTED TDS

08 December 2010 DEAR SIR IT MEANS IF I DEDUCT TDS ON TODAY DATE THEN THERE IS NO RULE TO DEPOSIT THAT TDS IN GOVT. TREASURY IN BETWEEN SEVEN DAYS AFTER DATE OF TDS DEDUCTION ???

09 December 2010 Dear Amitji, the Rule says that you have to deposit the tax deducted by you within the 7th of the next month in which tax has been deducted by you. In your case, you have deducted the tax on 08.12.2010, so you have to make the payment or deposit the same in Government Treasury at the latest by 07.01.2011.

Tds deposit is required made before the 7th of the following months ,there is no difference either you deducted on 1st day of the month or last date of the month .
