31 May 2016 Segment reporting is to be considered if the division is considered to be "Business segment". As per AS 17; a division is considered to be business segment, if the nature of product of services are different,production process & type or class of customers are different, or the method used for production is different or working in different regulatory environment. If the division referred falls under any one of the above category, segment reporting has to be done
