When will Unique identification number allot to a company by RBI? To whom it will be applicable?

26 December 2013 Now RBI has revised procedure of allotment of physical letter for uin. Once RBI will complete vetting of documents you will get email for uin from RBI. Pl check whether you have provided correct email id. Ideally it should not take much time in clear cases.

26 December 2013 UIN will be allotted to the Indian party. You may write to your authorised dealer banker which will inturn ask RBI if UIN is not received for prolonged time.
