28 July 2010 Hi. PLease help me. I have short term capital loss from F&O trading short term capital gain from other normal investment[stt paid]. can i sett off this loss and gain.

28 July 2010 Loss from F & O trading is non speculation business loss and not STC Loss and it can be set off against short term capital gain from other normal investment[stt paid].

28 July 2010 Pleas note that any profit/loss on F & O is trated as Business loss/profit not Capital gain.

If you have short term profit from sale of shares, you can adjust will loss on F& O
