Our Client is a transporter under partnership company. In the Financial Year 2009-10 he paid transports payment without deduction of TDS against the declaration of 15 I (Owner of Two Trucks). Some transporters not submitted his PAN Number.
Please anybody confirm me whether PAN numbers are mandatory or not.

yes Any person who deduct your TDS than please give him you PAN no. this TDS amount will help you while you file a return. you can also download you 26AS credit to see your deducted TDS amount
