What is the Transport Allowance allowed in case of Salaried Employee?
800 per month is it right?
Again if he travels to office by his own bike or car, is there any extra Allowance given ??

Yes, 800 p.m.is allowed as Transport Allowance u/s 10(16) of the It Act.
No extra allowances to travel by bile or car.

800 pm is the only exemption which seems unreasonable but can not do anything... this limit was set years ago and still govt feell it reasonable and not changing
