11 April 2012 Can a practicing chartered accountant transfer his proprietary firm to his wife who is also a chartered accountant on accepting employment elsewhere?

20 April 2012 In my opinion u can not transfer ur prop firm.
But u can convert it into partnership firm by admitting ur wife as partner and than u resign frm the firm.
