24 July 2009 I want to transfer a file of a limited company from Kolkata to Delhi, the file is under scrutiny for which notice has received, how can i transfer the file and what is the procedure.

24 July 2009 File is transfer on change of registered or corporate office of the company and a copy in thses regards is made to ITo with whom proceding is pending

Files can be tansferred either as is were of condition or after completion of scrutiny. Since interstate transfer is required file a transfer application to the Chief Commissioner of Culcutta through the assessee's jurisdictional ITO. But in all probability the request may be denied if the Registered office of the Company is situated in Culcutta.
