28 February 2008 My client is a construction company and importing some material from chaina, according to contract aggrement the CVD, ED shall be born by them and they shall provide their employer to avail the same, What are the Document Procedure required to maintain my Client? Please Clarify me. (my client not regestered with Excise and Customs). Seeking your suggestion.

28 February 2008 your client must register for excise and after that proff of payment of duty and all import documents, cenvat credit register, etc.

28 February 2008 Cenvat credit in relation to inputs meant for construction of immovable property is not eligible.

It is cost to your company carrying out construction.
