Transfer of capital goods to group comp imported under EPCG

28 April 2011 Dear Sir, How can i transfer this equipment to our group company? What are the paper requirements? Can i send this material on Non Returnable Gate pass or on Invoice?
I also wish to inform you that we have already completed the Export Obligation against said Licence and Export Obligation Discharge Certificate has been issued by DGFT.

13 May 2011 You have already completed EPCG Obligation, hence there is no restriction for shifting the machine.

However, as a pre-caustionary measure you can write to Exice Department about your plan to shift the said machine under Tranfer Advice/ Non Returnable Gate Pass (as it is tranferred to your own unit).

This letter may be written atleast 15 days prior to actual shifting.
