Transfer of articleship on medical grounds

26 May 2013 Hello,
My sister has been suffering from a serious jaundice since last two months and on that basis she's been on leave from her training. On doctor's reccomendation we want to transfer her to a CA who is less than a kilometer away from our home. Now my querry is:-
1.) Will she get a transfer on this ground (running into her 2nd yr of training)?
2.) As per your guidelines atleast 3 months of incapability is required, in our case it is 2 months and rest further 2 months she has to take care of not taking any exhertion... will it be on?

you can take transfer

on providing medical certificate from the government hospital

so obtain government certificate from govt.hospital for at least 3 months or 4 months ..it will be ok,,

27 May 2013 I see!! Well in that case, medical certificate shud be for past three months or future three months??

you should take for past months as ur sister absent since 2 months

and u better consult nearest icai regional branch in this regard
