Hi. I have finished 10 months of articelship. Now I want to transfer my articlship to another firm. Can my existing auditor object for the transfer?

yes he can and if he doesnt give u sign on form 109 then u cannot take a legal valid transfer

But ICAI code of conduct says, "Transfer of articelship within one year is permitted without any restrictions"

that is additional restriction on students but without ur ca's sign u cannot take a valid transfer.

no use as icai will not entertain as final dec in this case lies with icai
