Transfer of articleship

08 September 2013 I have completed my 6 & half months of articleship from a firm now i want to take transfer. I want to know how much time will it take for me to take transfer if the mam under whom i am doing my articleship is ready to give me transfer and a firm is also ready to take me as article.Please tell me all the procedure for transfer.

08 September 2013 It is generally 1-2 months

1)take your mam signature in 109

2)Send to icai with in 30 days

3)you can also register with other firm and send 103,,dont need to wait icai confirmation of your transfer,because icai definetely approves it

08 September 2013 Sir plz tell me once more whether i have to ask the institute before getting 109 signed by my mam or i have to just get it signed and send it to the institute and whether i can join another firm right away or wait for the institute's approval bcoz the new firm wants me to join from tommorow . But i have not informed institute about my willingness to take tranfer . Will it create any problem for me .

09 September 2013 no icai prior permission before sending form 109 as 1 years of articleship not completed

yes you can join immediately with out waiting for icai confirmation for transfer ,,i made it successfully for my transfer of articleship
