Is it possible to transfer from a firm against the wishes of your principal due to unforseeable circumstances??

no, it has to with the permission of principal becz his sign is required for his consent.

Yes.. but what if the principal fails to understand and does not give his consent in any case. Is there any way to approach the situation?

Rarely possible but you can certainly approach Institute if there is geneoun reasons.
